Last month of the year. What weather awaits Uzbeks in December?

Uzhydromet has announced the weather forecast for December 2024 in Uzbekistan.

According to the forecast, during the first ten days of the month, the temperature will generally align with the average multi-year values across the country.

The temperature is expected to be about 3°C colder to 2°C warmer at night, with daytime temperatures ranging from 3°C to 8°C warmer, and some places experiencing up to 10°C warmer conditions. In the northern regions, nighttime temperatures will be 3-8°C colder, while daytime temperatures will be 2-7°C warmer.

On December 1, the country will experience some precipitation, which may include rain and, in certain areas, snow. Light snowfall is expected in mountainous areas on December 2. Afterward, from December 3 to 8, dry weather will prevail across most of Uzbekistan. However, there may be precipitation again toward the end of the first ten days, around December 9-10.

In the second and third ten-day periods of the month, nighttime temperatures will range from 0-5°C to 2-7°C, while daytime temperatures will vary between 3-8°C to 10-15°C. By the end of the month, temperatures will drop to 5-10°C at night and 0-5°C during the day. In the northern regions, nighttime temperatures will range from 8-13°C, with some areas seeing drops to 15-17°C, while daytime temperatures will be between 2-3°C to 3-8°C.
