Uzbekistan drops in updated FIFA rankings

Following the international break in October, FIFA has released its updated world rankings. After a victory against Kuwait and a loss to Uruguay, Uzbekistan’s national football team has fallen by one position.
According to the new rankings, Uzbekistan now occupies 55th place, down one spot from the previous ranking. Among Asian teams, Uzbekistan ranks sixth. The countries above Uzbekistan are Japan (19), Iran (21), South Korea (22), Australia (25), and Qatar (52). The national team currently has 1,452.34 points.
Spain has retained its position at the top of the global rankings. Argentina has moved up to second place, while Didier Deschamps’ France has dropped one position to third.

3. France
4. England
5. Portugal
6. Netherlands
7. Brazil
8. Belgium
9. Italy
10. Germany
It is worth noting that earlier, it was reported that Uzbekistan’s national team will be placed in the third pot for the World Cup draw.
