At an extraordinary session of the Council of People's Deputies of the Yangiarik district in the Khorezm region, Zafarbek Bahodirovich Matnazarov was approved as the district governor. This appointment was reported by the regional government.
Zafarbek Matnazarov, born in 1986, graduated from the Tashkent Financial Institute. Prior to this appointment, he served as the first deputy governor of the Qoshkopir district, overseeing finance, the economy, and poverty alleviation, as well as heading the district's department of economic development and poverty alleviation.
The candidate was recommended by the National Personnel Reserve of the State Service Development Agency under the President.
It should be noted that yesterday, on August 7, new governors were appointed to Furqat, Tashkent, Mingbulok, Karaozak, and Takhiatosh districts, as well as the city of Ghazgon. Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov's proposal to dismiss the former governors of these regions, including the former governor of Yangiarik, was supported on July 17 at a meeting of video selectors chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev. This meeting focused on the work carried out in the first half of the year and the future tasks necessary to ensure economic growth.
