Registration for applicants wishing to enroll in higher and professional educational institutions for the 2025–2026 academic year began today, June 5. This was announced by the Agency for Knowledge and Qualifications Assessment.

Starting in 2024, entrance exams for state higher and professional educational institutions (excluding vocational schools) will be conducted under the principle of “first test, then selection.” This means that applicants will first take the exams, and based on their results, they will proceed to the selection stage.

Applicants will initially compete for places in undergraduate programs at higher education institutions. Following that, they may apply to professional educational institutions, depending on their scores.

Entrance exams for admission to both higher and professional educational institutions will be held during July and August.

The admission process for bachelor’s degree programs at state higher education institutions will take place in two stages:

First stage: From June 5 to June 25 (inclusive), applicants must register for the entrance exams. During this time, they must select a subject area, preferred language of instruction, and the testing region. If their chosen program requires a professional (creative) exam, they must also select the state higher education institution that will administer it.

Second stage: Within 15 days after the completion of the entrance exams, applicants must choose the higher education institution, bachelor’s degree program, and form of education they wish to pursue. Applicants who do not complete this step will not be considered in the final selection process.

Those applying to professional educational institutions must select the institution, profession, and specialty, and form of education within 10 days after the final results of admission to higher education institutions are announced.

Applicants can register by visiting the website my.uzbmb.uz. After accessing the site, they should navigate to the “Admission to Higher and Professional Educational Institutions” section to begin the application process.
