Diyor Holmatov, a 22-year-old attacking midfielder from FC Pakhtakor, may soon transfer to a club in France, a source told QALAMPIR.UZ.
According to the source, the French club showing interest in Holmatov is currently competing for top positions in its domestic league. While the name of the club has not yet been disclosed, it is expected to be announced in the near future. Additionally, clubs from Portugal and Turkey have also expressed interest in signing the Uzbek talent.
For reference, Holmatov’s contract with Pakhtakor is set to expire on December 31 of this year. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is currently estimated at €600,000.
As a reminder, it was previously reported that 20-year-old Pakhtakor player Muhammadali Urinbayev transferred to Belgian club Royal Antwerp. He signed a four-year contract with the team.
