Another tree conflict in Yakkasaray. Penalties have been imposed on the culprits

On 11 August, a Sophora tree fell in the Yakkasaray district of Tashkent.  This is reported by the press service of the district administration.

It is noted that during the course of construction works being carried out by the construction company in house 111, located on the street “Kichik Beshyog”och”, Yakkasaray district, due to partial exposure of the roots, 1 Sophora tree fell.

According to article 79 of the Administrative Code, an administrative protocol was drawn up for the violator and a fine of 7 million 800 thousand soms was imposed.

“At the same time, officials of the construction company were given relevant instructions regarding the protection of existing trees on the site, the implementation of biotechnical measures and environmental requirements, then they complied the letter of guarantee”, - the report said.

Earlier we reported that in Yakkasaray district the construction company damaged the roots of 5 maple trees and 7 chestnut trees.
