The deputy minister becomes the governor of Chilonzor

On 22 August, a new governor (khokim) was appointed to the Chilanzar district of Tashkent. Saidkahhor Kholkhodjayev Muhammadkarim’s son who had been holding the position of the first deputy minister of economic development and poverty reduction was assigned the governor of Chilanzar district.

According to the governance (khokimiyat) of Tashkent, an extraordinary sixty-fourth session of the Chilanzar District Council of people’s MPs was held on August 22. The meeting considered the issue of the appointment of a new governor of the Chilanzar district.

Hereinafter, the post of governor of Chilanzor will be held by Saidkahhor Kholkhodjayev Muhammadkarim’s son, who worked as the first Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Poverty Reduction of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and in other responsible positions.

Saidkahhor Kholkhodjaev was born in 1981 in the Tashkent region.  He has a higher education, graduating from the Tashkent Finance Institute in 2006.

It should be recalled that on 18 August of the current year, by the order of the governor of the city of Tashkent Jakhongir Ortikkhodjayev, first deputy governor of the Chilanzar district for finance, Jamoliddin Khusniddinovich Khodjimanov was appointed to the temporary duties of the Chilanzar district governor.

It should be noted that the governor of the Chilanzar district Sh. Mavlonov was fired from his post after the cutting down of trees occurred in this area.  District prosecutor I. Bazarov was also dismissed.
