A criminal case was initiated against the officials of the regional department of “Uztransgaz” Joint Stock Company

It was found that gas filling compressor stations for cars in Yangiyol district are illegally using natural gas and electricity.  A criminal case was initiated against those responsible.  This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.

According to the report, in order to provide a stable supply of natural gas to the population and social sector facilities during the winter season, and during a control event conducted by the working group headed by the Minister of Energy Jorabek Mirzamahmudov (in cooperation with the employees of the Internal Affairs and Prosecutor's Office), it was found that AGFCB located in Tashkent region is using natural gas and electricity illegally.

In this case, the regional prosecutor's office initiated a criminal case against AGFCB and the managers of the regional office of "Uztransgaz" JSC.

"On 3 January, around 21:00p.m., it was discovered that the Automobile Gas Filling Compressor Branch (AGFCB) belonging to the limited liability company "Gaz Servis" located in Yangiyol district was operating without following the set shutdown schedule," the ministry said.

When the gas metering equipment of this outlet was inspected, it was found that the equipment was exposed to external influence, that is, although the outlet is operating, the equipment is not working (indicators are in the "0" state), and natural gas supply was stopped, and the gas meter was removed for examination.

Also, when the branch's electricity supply situation was investigated, it was found that there had been no connection with the electricity meter and database since November, and the meter was sent for examination.

At the same time, it was also revealed that the gas meter of this AGFCB was installed contrary to the established regulations.

It should be recalled that in July of last year, the officials of Uztransgaz JSC were robbed of 4 trillion 904.7 billion soms by means of fraud and 7.4 billion soms were paid as excess bonus money and after their embezzlement, a large amount was used for the interests of the state and society. news about the damage was spread on social networks.

However, JSC "Uztransgaz" denied these reports and stated that no criminal case was opened against its officials and no official was involved in the investigation process within the framework of any criminal case.
