New chairman was appointed at 'Uzmetkombinat'

Dilshod Tursunkulovich Akhmedov has been appointed as the Chairman of the Board of JSC "Uzbekistan Metallurgical Combine."
Before this role, Akhmedov served as the Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade, a position he assumed in January 2024. From 2021 to 2024, he was the first deputy chairman of the board and executive director at "Uzmetkombinat."
Born in 1972, Akhmedov graduated from the Russian State Oil and Gas University named after I.M. Gubkin, and also studied at the Skolkovo School of Management in Moscow.
He has extensive experience in organizing production and managing industrial assets in Uzbekistan and Russia.
It is worth noting that his appointment as Deputy Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade was previously reported.
