Strong dust storms expected in Surkhandarya today – Uzhydromet

Today, November 3, strong winds and dust storms are expected in Surkhandarya region and some mountainous areas of Uzbekistan, according to Uzhydromet.
The agency reported that in Surkhandarya and parts of the country’s mountainous regions, wind speeds may increase to 13–18 m/s, accompanied by dust storms.
“We urge residents and visitors of these areas to take precautionary measures,” the report said.
Uzhydromet also advised citizens to limit outdoor activities and wear protective masks when going outside during such weather conditions.
