Uzgidromet warns of the danger of floods

Wet and cold air masses are expected to enter the territory of Uzbekistan on November 21-23 this year, as informed by Uzgidromet.


On November 21, rain is forecasted in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, Khorezm, Bukhara, and Navoi regions. On November 22, most of the republic will experience rain, and on November 23, the Fergana Valley regions will be affected.


Heavy rain is anticipated on November 22 in some areas of Tashkent, Samarkand, Jizzakh, Syrdarya, and Kashkadarya regions, and on November 23 in the Fergana Valley regions.


During November 22-23, heavy precipitation (rain, snow) is expected in some places in the mountainous regions of the republic.


Wind speeds are projected to increase to 15-20 m/s in certain areas of the republic, possibly reaching 22-25 m/s, with dust observed in some places.


The air temperature is forecasted to drop to 10-15 degrees during the day, 3-6 degrees at night, and it may reach -1/-3 degrees in the north.


There is a possibility of floods in the foothills and mountainous regions of the republic on November 22-23.
