Disruption hits Uzcard payment services

Disruptions have been observed in operations involving Uzcard cards today, August 28. The “United Republican Processing Center” JSC explained the issue as being caused by unscheduled maintenance work carried out within the Uzcard system.
According to the report, temporary disruptions are being observed in the following services:
- ATMs,
- E-POS and POS terminals,
- international bank cards,
- and the operation of co-branded cards abroad may also be affected.
In addition, disruptions have also been reported on the Uzcard website.
“We apologize for the temporary inconvenience and inform you that our specialists are working to eliminate the malfunctions and restore the stable operation of the system. Thank you for your understanding,” the statement said.
