9412The Minister of Investments, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan, Laziz Qudratov, along with the Minister of Agriculture, Ibrahim Abdurahmanov, traveled to Afghanistan. This information was reported by "Sputnik Afghanistan."
It was noted that the Uzbek delegation was received by Nuriddin Azizi and Ahmadullah Zahid, representatives from the Ministry of Trade in the interim government of the "Taliban." Additionally, Sahib Mamedov, the Deputy Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, will also participate in the meeting.
According to the provided information, the parties are scheduled to engage in discussions on the development of trade, transport, and logistics, as well as the exploration of mineral deposits, including hydrocarbons. Furthermore, plans include the construction of a cement plant with an annual production capacity of 1 million tons in northern Afghanistan.
It is worth recalling that a delegation led by Nuriddin Azizi, the Minister of Industry and Trade in the interim government of the "Taliban," previously visited Uzbekistan.
