The Consul General of Uzbekistan in Dubai, Alisher Salomov, has concluded his tenure. This was reported by the 'Dunyo' news agency.

According to the report, Alisher Salomov had a meeting with Rashid Abdulla Al Kasir, the Deputy Head of the Dubai Department of the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs, during which they discussed matters of cooperation between Uzbekistan and the UAE.

At the conclusion of their discussion, the UAE representative expressed gratitude to Alisher Salomov for his effective five-year term as the Consul General of Uzbekistan in Dubai.

Since January 2019, Alisher Salomov had served as the head of the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Dubai.

It's worth noting that previously, the Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Spain, Jahangir Ghaniev, completed his diplomatic mission in that country.
