At today’s program of the Asian Judo Championship, held in Bangkok, Thailand, representatives of the Uzbekistan national team secured 1 gold and 2 bronze medals. This was reported by the press service of the Uzbekistan Judo Federation.
According to the report, Shakhram Akhadov, competing in the -73 kg weight category, defeated all his opponents and added the continental championship title to his list of achievements. Shukurjon Aminova and Arslon Tojiev also climbed the podium in their respective weight categories.
Gold medal:
- 73 kg: Shakhram Akhadov.
Bronze medals:
- 57 kg: Shukurjon Aminova
- 81 kg: Arslon Tojiev
For reference, during yesterday’s program on April 25, Uzbek judoka Zamokhshari Bekmurodov claimed the gold medal in the -66 kg weight category.
