Boxers from Uzbekistan successfully participated in the international tournament

Between 19-23 of October this year, the international "Do`stlik kubogi"(Friendship Cup) boxing tournament among athletes born in 2007-2008 was held in the city of Aksay, Kazakhstan.

In addition to the hosts, the winners and prize-winners of different weights were determined in the contests in which representatives of Russia, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan took part.

Six boxers defended the honor of Uzbekistan in the competitions.  It is noteworthy that all of them took place among the winners of the tournament.

Shahboz Ergashev (52 kg), Hikmatullo Olmasov (-60 kg) and Akbar Akhmadov (-63 kg) won the gold medal, while Muhammadaziz Qoldoshaliyev (-50 kg), Ibrahim Giyasov (- 52 kg) and Murodilla Sunnatullayev (-54 kg) won the bronze medal.

Earlier, the members of the senior boxing team of Uzbekistan, which will participate in the Asian Championship, was announced.
