Academic rowers from Uzbekistan takes second place at the Asian Games

The academic rowing team from Uzbekistan has successfully concluded their participation in the Asian Games, achieving remarkable results. The athletes clinched an impressive total of 2 gold, 4 silver, and 1 bronze medal during the competition, securing the second position overall, just behind China. This remarkable achievement was reported by a journalist from QALAMPIR.UZ, who was stationed in Hangzhou, China.

In the women's singles program of academic rowing, Anna Prakaten emerged as the gold medalist. The silver and bronze medals were awarded to athletes representing China and Japan, respectively.

The quartet composed of Shehroz Hakimov, Davrjon Davronov, Dilshodjon Khudoiberdiyev, and Alisher Turdiyev, who competed in the M4 program, crossed the finish line first, securing another gold medal for Uzbekistan.

In the M4x academic rowing program, the team consisting of Shahzod Nurmatov, Shahboz Kholmirzayev, Mehrozhbek Mamatkulov, and Sobirjon Safaraliyev earned the silver medal. China claimed the gold medal in this event, while India secured the bronze.
