All coronavirus restrictions for tourists visiting Uzbekistan have been lifted

According to the decision of the Republican Special Commission, since 10 June of the current year, temporary restrictions established in accordance with the situation of coronavirus infection on the travel of persons visiting Uzbekistan for tourist purposes through air routes, border railway stations, and automobile checkpoints has been abolished.  This is reported by the press service under the Ministry of Tourism and Cultural Heritage of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Therefore, rules introduced in accordance with the situation of the Coronavirus infection by the statements of the Special Commission-which require foreign tourists to have a negative PCR test for coronavirus infection before arriving in Uzbekistan, to take an express antigen test for coronavirus infection, and to have a certificate of vaccination or a passport in the appropriate order will be lifted.

It is noted that given the dynamic decrease in the prevalence of Coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan, the positive change in the number of patients with Coronavirus infection and discharged from the hospital, the positive change in the number of quarantined citizens relative to the number of quarantined, as well as the epidemiological situation in the world, the commission adopted such a decision.
