Apricots shipped from Uzbekistan to Russia's Orenburg region were rejected due to the presence of worms, according to a report by the regional branch of "Rosselkhoznadzor."

Pests were found in the new shipment of apricots during an inspection at the "Uralkomplekt" warehouse.

The report stated that a total of 0.924 tons of apricots were imported into the region. Following this incident, the import of apricots into the region was prohibited. The responsible parties have been held accountable.

It is worth noting that previously, the standards department of Afghanistan's interim Taliban government returned two tankers of low-quality gasoline to Uzbekistan from the port of Hayraton.
