An Association of Learning Centers will be established in Uzbekistan. The initiative was supported by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev on February 24 during a meeting with young people at the Kuksaroy residence.
It was noted that the policy of reimbursing examination and tuition expenses for young people who obtain foreign language certificates has yielded significant results. The number of certificate holders has exceeded 600,000. Most importantly, 72,000 instructors proficient in foreign languages have emerged.
As a result of the favorable conditions created, the number of private learning centers has tripled, surpassing 38,000.
Young entrepreneurs operating in this sector proposed the creation of an Association of Learning Centers, and the President expressed his support for the initiative.
Under the new policy, entrepreneurs who lease premises to private learning centers that are members of the association will be exempt from paying income and profit taxes on rental revenue.
Teachers from such centers will also be sent for internships to leading educational institutions in countries such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Singapore, and Japan, with expenses covered by the Youth Affairs Agency.
Earlier during the meeting, it was announced that university graduates undertaking internships under the “My First Profession” program would receive scholarships of up to 2 million soums per month.
