A girl born in Uzbekistan can join the UFC

Sora Rahmonova, sister of UFC fighter Shavkat Rahmonov from Kazakhstan, will fight on September 26 at the “UFC Contender Series” tournament of the organization’s president, Dana White.

This competition was organized to select the best fighters for the world’s number one MMA promotion (UFC), and the winner of each fight will have the opportunity to sign a contract with the organization.

According to preliminary information, 25-year-old Rahmonova will compete against Lithuanian Ernesta Karikaite on September 26.

For information, Sora had 5 fights in professional mixed martial arts, won 4 and lost once.

She fought her last fight in the Naiza tournament against Valery Karigina and won by technical knockout.  After the fight, he turned to Dana White on social networks and asked to give him the opportunity to show himself in the UFC.  Sora’s brother Shavkat also supported this decision.

It should be noted that the MMA brothers and sisters were actually born in Shorchi district of Surkhandarya region.  Later, he moved to Kazakhstan with his parents and received the citizenship of the country.
