List of banned extremist channels in Uzbekistan published

The Supreme Court of Uzbekistan has published a list of sources and content materials on the internet that were found to contain religious extremist, terrorist, and fanatic ideas and whose import, production, storage, distribution, and display are prohibited in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
The list includes 270 pages on Facebook, 855 channels on Telegram, 386 pages on Instagram, one page on Threads, 190 channels on YouTube, 39 pages on Odnoklassniki, 62 pages on TikTok, as well as certain websites and books available online.

“Dear citizens, dear parents and young people, always guard yourselves against falling into the trap of religious fanaticism, extremism, and terrorism. Never allow them to destroy your life and your dreams. Stay away from internet sources banned by the court,” the statement said.
