Earlier, it was reported that as of September 1, in Uzbekistan, the amount of monthly pensions and allowances will be increased. The minimum wage will be set at 1,155,000 sums, and the base calculation amount will be established at 375,000 sums. As a result, fines calculated based on the base calculation amount will also see an increase:

  • Failure to wear a seatbelt: 187,500 sums;
  • Lack of a first aid kit during a technical examination: 187,500 sums;
  • Driving without proper documentation: 375,000 sums;
  • Operating a vehicle without insurance: 375,000 sums;
  • Running a red light: 750,000 sums;
  • Illegal parking: 750,000 sums;
  • Driving a vehicle without a license plate: 1,875,000 sums;
  • Speeding (+20 km/h): 375,000 sums;
  • Speeding (+20-40 km/h): 1,875,000 sums;
  • Speeding (40+ km/h): 3,375,000 sums;
  • Driving in the opposite direction of traffic: 3,750,000 sums;
  • Driving while intoxicated: 9,375,000 sums and revocation of driving privileges for up to 3 years;
  • Unauthorized vehicle modifications: 9,375,000 sums;
  • Repeated unauthorized use of tinted windows within one year: 15,000,000 sums.

Furthermore, according to the Code of Administrative Responsibility, fines ranging from 375,000 to 1,125,000 sums will be imposed for littering in undesignated areas, while smoking in public places will result in a fine of 125,000 sums.
