National statistics reveal fuel and energy production figures for 2025

In the first three months of 2025, Uzbekistan produced 304.3 thousand tons of automobile gasoline, according to the National Statistics Committee.

This figure is 56.3 thousand tons lower than the same period last year when 360.6 thousand tons of gasoline were produced during the first three months of 2024.

Additionally, between January and March 2025, Uzbekistan recorded the production of 1.2 million tons of coal, 160.8 thousand tons of oil, 11.3 billion cubic meters of natural gas, 296.6 thousand tons of gas condensate, as well as 915 trucks and 70,020 automobile engines.

During the same period last year, coal production was lower, amounting to 968.9 thousand tons, while oil production reached 179.1 thousand tons, and gas condensate totaled 326.3 thousand tons.

For reference, across all 12 months of 2024, Uzbekistan produced 1.3 million tons of gasoline, 8.2 million tons of coal, 1.2 million tons of gas condensate, and 713.4 thousand tons of oil.

Earlier, Kazakhstan announced plans to lift price controls on gasoline, aiming to reduce price disparities with neighboring countries and minimize the risks of gray-market fuel exports. The Kazakh Ministry of Energy is gradually working toward deregulating fuel and lubricant prices as part of its broader strategy.
