Providing services for “Mir” cards is suspended in Uzbekistan

Today from 23 September, for technical reasons, providing services for the Russian card “Mir” in Uzbekistan has been suspended.  This is reported by the press service under the Single republican processing center UZCARD.

According to the single republican processing center, in connection with the technical and preventive work being carried out by the participant of the payment system, today 23 September, from 09:00am, services for “Mir” cards in the infrastructure UZCARD and “UZCARD - Mir” co-badging cards abroad, is also temporarily suspended.

Co-badging cards “UZCARD - “Mir” will continue to work in the usual mode in the infrastructure of the UZCARD payment system on the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan”, - the report said.

It should be noted that earlier there were reports on social networks that banks in Uzbekistan stopped accepting cards “Mir”.

However, UZCARD informed that the receipt of “Mir” cards in Uzbekistan continues.
