The coronavirus again intensifies in Uzbekistan

Yesterday 16 June, 59 people (45 in the capital) were diagnosed with coronavirus infection in Uzbekistan. This is the highest figure since mid-March. This was reported by the Ministry of Health.

New cases of illness:
• 2 in the Andijan region;
• 1 in Bukhara region;
• 2 in the Samarkand region;
• 4 in the Surkhandarya region;
• 1 in the Fergana region;
• 4 in the Tashkent region;
• 45 cases have been identified among those sampled for interacting with patients with coronavirus in Tashkent.

It is noted that since the beginning of the pandemic, the total number of officially registered cases of coronavirus in Uzbekistan has amounted to 239.4 thousand.
