The State tax committee has announced the initial results of submitting tax declarations through the “Tax” mobile app for the “Concert and performance activities” service, launched on June 30 this year. According to the report, Khorezm Region and Tashkent City are leading in submissions, the State Tax Committee reported on August 18.
It was noted that this service allows singers and performers to submit their annual income declarations to the tax authorities. In doing so, they fulfill their constitutional duty to pay income tax.
The process has been simplified through the integration of the database of the “Uzbekkonsert” state institution with the information system of the tax authorities.
As a result, singers and performers holding a license for “Concert and performance activities” can automatically use this service in the “Tax” mobile app once their identity is verified and they pass Face-ID authentication.
To date, 1,954 licensed singers have submitted their income declarations.

It is worth noting that earlier, it was reported that in Uzbekistan, the licenses of creators who violate copyright may be revoked.
