Uzbekistan witnesses two earthquake tremors

Today on 14 October, tremors of two earthquakes occurred in Kazakhstan and were also felt in Uzbekistan.  This was reported by the Republic Center for Seism prognostic Monitoring of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The first earthquake occurred in Kazakhstan at 04:39 Tashkent time (13 October 2022, 23:39 GMT). Earthquake coordinates: 41.54 degrees north latitude; 69.2 degrees east longitude. The epicenter of the earthquake, located 31 km northwest of Tashkent at a depth of 15 km, had a magnitude of 2.5.

The second earthquake occurred in Kazakhstan at 05:16 Tashkent time (14 October 2022, 00:16 GMT). Earthquake coordinates: 41.56 degrees north latitude; 69.21 degrees east longitude. The epicenter of the earthquake, located 33 km north of Tashkent at a depth of 15 km, had a magnitude of 2.6.

The strength of both earthquakes was felt in the Tashkent region of Uzbekistan.
