Until 15 January of this year, the cold air mass that formed in the northern regions of the European part of Russia will continue to enter the territory of Uzbekistan.  This was reported by the Hydrometeorological Service Center.

Anomalous cold weather is expected in the republic on 12-15 January.  The air temperature at night will be up to 12-17° cold, and in some places up to 20° cold.  In the north it will be up to 20-25° cold at night, and in some places in Ustyurt and desert regions up to 27-30° cold.  During the day up to 5-10° cold, in some places, it drops to 12°C, in the south, and in the Fergana Valley, it drops to 8-13°C at night, and 3-8°C during the day.

The roads will be slippery in some places.

Between 12-16 January, there will be a risk of avalanches in the mountainous regions of Uzbekistan.
