The Statistics Agency has shared data regarding the average lifespan in Uzbekistan.
In 2023, the average lifespan of Uzbekistan's permanent residents was 74.7 years, up from 73.8 years in 2022.
As of January 1, 2024:
- Women had an average lifespan of 76.9 years.
- Men had an average lifespan of 72.5 years.
It's worth noting that as of January 1, 2024, there were 514 citizens in Uzbekistan aged 100 or above, receiving pensions and benefits from regional branches of the non-budgetary Pension Fund.
