In Uzbekistan, 24 percent of parents do not check their children's cell phones at all.  By contrast, 59 percent check every day.  Abdulla Avloni from the National Research Institute reported this, based on the results of a survey conducted among citizens.

It is noted that the research institute completed a survey on the topic of "Mobile phones - A student's friend or enemy?"  During the 10-day period, more than 95,400 users acquainted themselves with the survey questions, and 21,400 of them voted.

According to the results of the survey, 52 percent of the respondents believe that "Calls, messages, social networks, games, etc. distract students' thoughts from the lesson."  Many teachers and parents agreed with this opinion."  If the ethics of using a phone is followed, it will not have a negative effect on the lessons." The answer option received the least - 16 percent of votes.

When asked how often you check your children's mobile phone, 59% of parents who participated in the survey said that they check their child's mobile phone every day, 24% do not check it at all, and 17% check it every week.

When the students are asked why they use their phones during class, 63 percent of respondents answered that they use the internet (YouTube, Tik Tok, Telegram, etc.), 24 percent of participants selected the option "They use it only for lesson preparation and class activities."

In the survey, parents were asked their opinion about taking away their children's phones before school.  84 percent of respondents supported this suggestion, 13 percent disagreed, and 3 percent stated that it did not matter.
