The Ministry of Poverty Reduction and Employment has developed a working time calendar for 2026. This was reported by the ministry’s press service.
The working time calendar was prepared in accordance with the Labor Code, the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Determining Additional Non-Working Days During Official Holidays in 2026 and Rescheduling Days Off,” as well as the 2025 and 2026 calendars.
The document calculates the number of working hours and working days by month, quarter, half-year, and year for five-day (40-hour), six-day (40-hour), and six-day (36-hour) workweeks. It also separately specifies working time standards for official public holidays and pre-holiday working days in 2026.

This document can be used for the following purposes:
– developing work schedules;
– planning and formalizing leave;
– determining monthly, quarterly, and annual working hours;
– and other related purposes.
If additional days off are introduced or rest days are rescheduled by presidential decree, the working time calendar will be adjusted accordingly.
It is worth noting that earlier reports noted that the President had signed a decree regarding holiday rest days.
