Uzbekistan falls in the crime ranking

By the end of the first half of 2022, Uzbekistan ranked 104th place among 142 countries in terms of crime and security.  This is 3 points lower compared to the same period last year.  The corresponding rating is published by Numbeo.

Uzbekistan scored 33.68 points on the level of crime and 66.32 points on the level of security. Occupying lower places in the rating indicates a high level of security in the country.

Venezuela (crime rate of 83.16 points), Papua New Guinea (80.26 points), and Afghanistan (78.19 points) are the countries with the highest level of crime.  The top 10 most dangerous countries include South Africa, Honduras, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana, Jamaica, El Salvador, and Syria.

Qatar is considered the safest country, with a safety rating of 85.85 points.  In addition, UAE (85.13), Taiwan (83.85), Isle of Man (81.72), Sultanate of Oman (80.28), Hong Kong (78.38), Armenia (78.25), Switzerland (77.88), Japan (77.76), Slovenia (76.83) are among the top ten safe countries.

Among the countries of central Asia, Kazakhstan ranks 47th (crime rate – 53.04; security level – 46.96) and Kyrgyzstan ranks 36th (crime rate – 55.88; security level – 44.12 ;) place.  Tajikistan and Turkmenistan are not included in the rating.  Russia took 94th place.
