The Uzbekistan Team's Winning Streak Comes to an End

The 5th day of the World Senior Boxing Championship in Tashkent has come to an end.  Three Uzbek boxers entered the ring as per the day's program.

Lazizbek Mullojhonov beat Colombia’s Marlo Hartado in the -92 kg category, and Abdumalik Khalokov defeated Guyanese Kevin Alicok in the -57 kg category.  The Uzbek team was defeated for the first time yesterday when Jasurbek Yoldoshev lost to Jordanian leather glove master Husein Lashish in the -80 kg category.

Today the 6th May, three more Uzbek representatives will fight.  Ruslan Abdullayev will compete with Mauritian Richanro Colin in the -63.5 kg category, and Asadhoja Moydinkhojayev will compete against Japanese Yuto Wakita in the -67 kg category.  Saidjamshid Jafarov is the final Uzbek representative who will enter the ring against Mexican Alonso Verde in the evening program.

Abdullayev's fight will start after 14:15 p.m., the Moydinkhojayev and Jafarov fights will start after 19:00 p.m.
