Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia sign contracts worth about $12 billion

Uzbekistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have signed 10 investment agreements worth 45 billion riyals (about 11.99 billion dollars).

This was done within the framework of the state visit of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev of Uzbekistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

According to the president’s press service, at the meeting of the Uzbek-Saudi Business Council, the total value of more than 14 billion dollars in the fields of energy, chemistry, electrical engineering, infrastructure development, health, agriculture, pharmacists, information technologies, and the transport was discussed, agreements and contracts were signed.

Fifteen documents on cooperation in the fields of energy, customs, civil aviation, tourism, agriculture, health, and labor relations have been adopted between the governments and ministries of the two countries.
