Uzbekistan and Pakistan approve a mutual agreement of transit trade

A Presidential Decree «On Ratification of International Treaty» has been adopted.
The Decree approved the transit trade agreement between the Governments of Uzbekistan and Pakistan.
The Ministry of Investment and Foreign Trade, the Ministry of Transport and the State Customs Committee have been appointed by the competent authorities for the implementation of this international agreement.
The Cabinet of Ministers and the heads of the relevant ministries and departments will ensure the fulfillment of Uzbekistan’s obligations after this international treaty comes into force.
For reference, the document was signed on 15 July 2021 during the visit of Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan, to Uzbekistan at the end of the negotiations with President Shavkat Mirziyoev.
