First ladies of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan meet

A meeting between the First Ladies of Uzbekistan, Ziroat Mirziyoyeva, and Kyrgyzstan, Aigul Japarova, took place at the “Kuksaroy” residence as part of the Kyrgyz President's state visit to Uzbekistan, O‘zA reported.

During the meeting, the wives of the state leaders exchanged views on strengthening the bonds of friendship and solidarity between the brotherly peoples and further developing cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

Additionally, the First Ladies visited the “Imkon” rehabilitation center, a specialized preschool education institution in the Qibray district. This center provides rehabilitation services for children with special educational needs. The first institution under this project was opened in Nukus in 2019, followed by Qarshi and Zarafshan, with plans to establish more centers across the republic in the future.

Ziroat Mirziyoyeva and Aigul Japarova highly appreciated the conditions created for the children and wished success in implementing this noble idea, the report said.

It is worth noting that during the negotiations between the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, and the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Sadyr Japarov, 16 documents were signed.
