Uzbekistan and Finland sign 9 documents

On October 31, following the talks held in Tashkent, President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President of the Republic of Finland Alexander Stubb signed a Joint Statement. The news was reported by the press service of the President of Uzbekistan.

It was noted that, in the presence of the two leaders, a signing ceremony was held for a package of bilateral documents covering various areas, including:

– development of trade and economic relations;
– cooperation in the field of mineral extraction;
– collaboration in geological sciences, geological exploration, the search for minerals and groundwater, and the mining sector;
– promotion of digital transformation, innovation, and digital interconnectivity;
– cooperation in the field of social protection;
– partnership in introducing digital education platforms into preschool and school education systems;
– cooperation in education, science, and innovation;
– enhancing scientific and educational potential in digitalization and water resources management;
– cooperation on climate change and environmental protection.

It is worth noting that earlier, at the Kuksaroy residence, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev and President Alexander Stubb held talks with the participation of official delegations.
