Uzbekistan suffers major setback ahead of Uruguay match

Uzbekistan’s national football team has faced a serious loss ahead of its upcoming match against Uruguay on October 13, as midfielder Abbosbek Fayzullayev will be unable to play due to injury, the Uzbekistan Football Association reported the news.
According to the statement, on October 9, during the friendly match against Kuwait, Abbosbek Fayzullayev sustained an injury and was forced to leave the field. Following a thorough medical examination, doctors advised that he sit out the upcoming game against Uruguay.
Uzbekistan played a friendly match against Kuwait at the ’’AOlimpiya’’ stadium in Tashkent on October 9. Goals from Eldor Shomurodov and Hojimat Erkinov secured a 2–0 victory for the ’’White wolves.’’ The next friendly match will take place on October 13 in Malaysia, where Uzbekistan will face the Uruguay national team.
