Opponents of Uzbekistan U-23 Team on the Path to the Paris Olympics Revealed

Today, the 25th of May, the draw for the qualifying round of the U-23 Asian Football Cup, took place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The tournament is scheduled to be held in Qatar in April-May next year.
During the draw, the Uzbek team, led by coach Temur Kapadze, was placed in Group E. The group will also feature Iran, Afghanistan, and Hong Kong as competitors against Uzbekistan.
A total of 43 teams divided into 11 groups will participate in the qualifying round of the Asian Cup. The group winners, along with the four best second-placed teams, will secure their spots in the Asian Cup. The qualifying matches are scheduled to take place from the 4th to the 12th of September this year. Group E qualifiers will be held in Uzbekistan.
It's worth noting that the Asian Championship will also serve as a qualifying stage for the men's football tournament at the 2024 Summer Olympics. The top three teams from the competition will qualify as representatives of the AFC for the Olympics hosted by Paris. Additionally, the fourth-placed team will represent the African continent in the play-offs.
