Uzbekistan FM Saidov meets with UK Commons Speaker in London

On May 19, Uzbekistan Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov held a meeting in London with the Speaker of the House of Commons of Great Britain, Lindsi Xoyl. He announced this on his Telegram page.

He wrote, “Our negotiations are aimed at further strengthening the relations between Uzbekistan and Great Britain, and deepening the progressively evolving partnership between our peoples.”

During the meeting, they discussed accelerating exchanges in trade, education, security, and other areas, as well as activating the necessary inter-parliamentary cooperation to advance common goals.

“Expanding the relations between our peoples remains an integral part of our dynamic foreign policy,” Saidov stated.

It should be recalled that previously, Uzbekistan Foreign Minister Bakhtiyor Saidov met with Great Britain’s Foreign Minister, Devid Lemmi. At the conclusion of that meeting, a Cooperation Program for 2025–2026 was signed between the ministries.
