Uzbekistan national team matches against Kyrgyzstan and Iran announced

The AFC has confirmed the dates and venues for the Uzbekistan national team's matches against the Kyrgyz Republic and Iran in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
To accommodate fans during the month of Ramadan, the Uzbekistan Football Association requested a change in the match schedule. The AFC approved the request, and the match against Kyrgyzstan was rescheduled for March 20 at 21:00 Tashkent time.
Additionally, the away match against Iran is set to take place on March 25 at the "Ozodi" Stadium, also at 21:00 Tashkent time.
Currently, after the 6th round of the 3rd stage of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers, Temur Kapadze's team is in 2nd place in Group A with 13 points. In this stage, the top two teams from each group will directly qualify for the World Cup.
