A new chairman was appointed to “Uzbekistan Railways”

In accordance with the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, Narzullayev Zufar Ghiyosovich was appointed acting chairman of the board of the joint-stock company “Uzbekistan Railways”.  This was reported by the Press Service of the society.

Since 1996, Zufar Narzullayev worked in various leadership positions in the structural divisions of the railway sector of Uzbekistan.  In 2009-2016, he headed the capital construction directorate in the railway system.

He was also the first deputy governor of Jizzakh region in 2016-2017.  Since 2017, Zufar Narzullayev has been working as the director of the engineering company “Uzshahar Kurilish Invest”.

Also, by the relevant decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, Rahmetov Hikmatilla Narzullayevich was appointed as the first deputy chairman of the board of Uzbekistan Railways JSC.

Let us remind you that on July 11 of this year, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev fired Khusniddin Khosilov, who was working as the chairman of “Uzbekistan Railways”, because he was slow to attract investments and use them.

In addition, on this day, Deputy Minister of Water Management Bakhtiyor Kamolov, Deputy Minister of Transport Abdusamat Mominov, Chairman of the Board of “Ozsuvta’minot” Joint Stock Company Sahib Saifnazarov and Chairman of the Committee of Automobile Roads Abdurahmon Abduvaliyev  was released from his position.
