The Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan visited Japan

On March 6th, Bakhtiyor Saidov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, conducted an official visit to Japan's capital, where he met with Taro Aso, the vice president of Japan's Liberal Democratic Party and chairman of the Uzbekistan Friendship League in the Japanese Parliament, as reported by "Dunyo" news agency.

Bakhtiyor Saidov expressed his appreciation for the meeting with Mr. Taro Aso, highlighting his role as a significant figure in fostering Uzbekistan-Japan relations, being both the vice president of the Liberal Democratic Party and the chairman of the friendship league with Uzbekistan in the Japanese parliament. This statement was made via Saidov's Telegram channel.

The importance of public diplomacy in strengthening bilateral ties between nations was underscored during the meeting.
