Exhibits related to the history of Uzbekistan will be exhibited in Paris

4220On 23 November of this year, a total of 138 exhibition pieces collected from 16 Uzbekistan museums will be displayed at an exhibition in Paris, the capital of France. The exhibition is dedicated to the rich heritage of Uzbekistan.
During the exhibition, the story of the Great Silk Road, which passed through the southern region of modern Uzbekistan, was presented, and 169 exhibits covering the period of almost two thousand years, including 138 artifacts from 16 museums of Uzbekistan, as well as 31 museum objects from the world's leading museums will be exhibited.
The list of exhibits displayed at the exhibition includes the head of the Kushan prince in the Buddhist temple, which was found in 1937 in the archaeological excavations near the town of Dalvarzintepa, which was founded during the Kushan kingdom in the Surkhandarya region.
Afro-Siyab paintings will also be exhibited. They were found in the palace of Samarkand ruler Varkhuman in 1965, and the picture belongs to the end of the VI century and the beginning of the VIII century.
The Bodhisattva statue found in the Buddhist temple in Dalvarzintepa is an exhibit belonging to the II-III century BC.
Similar historical heritages will be displayed in Paris museums.
