Uzbekistan intelligence sets record in international competition

The national team of the Ministry of Defense of Uzbekistan won a record result at the international competition “Team Spirit” in Pakistan. The press service under the Ministry of Defense reported this.

It was noted that the competition was held at the National Counter-Terrorism Training Center of the 22nd Army Corps of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. A total of 16 intelligence teams from nine countries (Morocco, Jordan, Kenya, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Uzbekistan, and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan) competed in the competition.

Under the terms of the competition, the teams have moved through the azimuth at 6 checkpoints of the route up to 80 km, and performed various tactical, rifle, medical, communications, engineering exercises, weapons of mass destruction protection and various special exercises on military topography, as well as solving unforeseen tasks at checkpoints.

At the end of the competition:

1st place -the team of the Republic of Uzbekistan (2,850 points);
2nd place – Morocco (1,860 points);
3rd place – Sri Lanka (2010 points) and Saudi Arabia (1900 points). Sri Lanka and Saudi Arabia took third place after taking penalty points.

«At the closing ceremony of the international tournament, the winning team and the winners, including the team of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan, were awarded gold medals», – the official report says.
