On November 15, Uzbekistan’s U-17 national team faced Croatia’s U-17 team in the Round of 16 of the World Championship.
The first half was closely contested, with both sides creating scoring opportunities. In the 26th minute, Sadriddin Hasanov scored, giving Uzbekistan the lead. No further goals were scored in the first half.
In the second half, the Croatian side intensified their attacks. After creating several dangerous chances, they equalized in the 80th minute, bringing the score level. The match was ultimately decided in a penalty shootout, with Uzbekistan emerging victorious 4-3.
With this win, Uzbekistan’s U-17 team will face Italy in the Round of 16.
