Uzbekistan national team squad announced for CAFA Nations Cup

The Uzbekistan national football team will take part in the CAFA Nations Cup 2025, which will be held in Tashkent at the end of this month and the beginning of September. Head coach Timur Kapadze has announced the extended squad for the training camp dedicated to the tournament.
It is reported that the Uzbekistan national team will begin its next training camp on August 26. The extended squad includes 35 players: 4 goalkeepers, 13 defenders, 9 midfielders, and 9 forwards.
The CAFA Nations Cup 2025 will be held from August 29 to September 8 this year. As the host nation, Uzbekistan has been placed in Group A alongside Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, and Oman. The national team of Uzbekistan will begin its campaign on August 30 with a match against Oman.
