Uzbekistan conducts an inquiry into citizens detained at the Delhi airport

4919Earlier, we reported that two Uzbeks were caught with 5 kg of gold at the Delhi airport.
"Dunyo" news agency reports that they are currently being investigated.
It was reported that the embassy of the country in Delhi had taken control of the inquiry process related to citizens and established working relations with the responsible law enforcement agencies of India. Also, measures are being taken to hold a meeting with temporarily detained compatriots.
The diplomatic mission called on citizens to strictly comply with the requirements of the laws of foreign countries when traveling abroad, including to India, not to be deceived by false promises of various suspicious groups or individuals, and not to take luggage or items from strangers before boarding the plane.
