The number of countries that established diplomatic relations with Uzbekistan has reached 141

Yesterday 13 June, a joint communiqué was signed in New York on the establishment of diplomatic relations between Uzbekistan and Antigua, and Barbuda.  This was reported by the information agency “Dunyo” (World).

The document was signed on behalf of the two governments by the permanent Representative of Uzbekistan to the United Nations Bakhtiyor Ibrakhimov and permanent Representative of Antigua and Barbuda to the United Nations Walton Alfonso Webson.

Antigua and Barbuda became the 141st country to establish diplomatic relations with Uzbekistan.  It is located in the western part of the Caribbean sea and is a member of the British Commonwealth and the Organization of American States.

On 10 May 2022, Uzbekistan established diplomatic relations with Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
